Making an Application to SHYP Trust
under the Rent Guarantee Scheme (RGS)

Applicants must be 18 or over to make an RSG application and meet our criteria
(see home page) but those between 16 and 18 can apply for help in the form of a small grant for training etc.

What to do:

1. Obtain an application Form

From Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)

From Social Services

E-mail

2. Complete Part 1 RGS (if you want help take the form to CAB)

3. Send Part 1 to the address on the Form

4. Wait for someone from SHYP Trust to contact you

If you have already found a place to rent:

5. In addition to the above complete and send Part 2 of the Form to the address on the Form

In all applications you must be able to show us that you can:

Pay the rent

Repay the loan
